BIG LOVE. SMALL WEDDINGS.
A little less circus. A lot more magic.
Somewhere along the way, weddings got complicated.
Real complicated.
What started out as two people, a promise, and a couple of gold rings turned into a three-ring circus. Guest lists longer than a grocery receipt in a recession. Seating charts requiring the diplomatic skills of a United Nations ambassador. Flowers that cost more than a decent used car.
And somewhere in the middle of all that beautiful, expensive chaos, two people stood looking at each other, wondering when their wedding became everybody else's party.
Funny thing about love.
It doesn't need much room.
It can fill a cathedral or whisper its promises in a little room with twelve chairs and a handful of people who actually give a damn.
Love doesn't count the guests. It doesn't read the price tags. And it certainly doesn't care whether Aunt Martha got the chicken or the beef.
Love just wants to show up.
That's where Pink Door Weddings comes in.
We believe weddings ought to be about the people getting married. Imagine that. A radical concept in an industry that sometimes treats romance like a corporate merger.
We create small, intimate weddings. Beautiful settings. Meaningful ceremonies. Music. Photography. The little details that matter, without the mountain of details that don't.
No circus. No second mortgage. No sleepless nights wondering whether the napkins match the bridesmaids' shoes.
Just two people, a beautiful moment, and the kind of memories that stick around long after the flowers have surrendered.
I've photographed weddings for more than thirty years. Big ones. Small ones. Fancy ones. Ones where the champagne flowed like Niagara Falls and others where the tears did all the talking.
And here's something I've learned.
The size of the wedding has precious little to do with the size of the love.
Sometimes the smallest weddings leave the biggest footprints on your heart.
Pink Door Weddings.
Because the best things in life don't always come with a guest list of 200.
And sometimes, all you really need is a little pink door to walk through.
